Hello! I’m Caitlin Galante DeAngelis, an author, historian, and cemetery aficionado. If I’m not out in a burial ground with my camera, I am probably in an archive, reading other people’s mail. I live in Massachusetts with my wife and two children.
In the past, I have written about burial grounds in New England and enslaved craftsmen in the American colonies. After receiving my Ph.D., I served as the head Research Associate for the Harvard and Slavery Project, investigating the many ways that Harvard profited from slavery.
I am currently working on a new book project about cemeteries during the Second World War. I hope to reveal more details soon!
